Implementation of ISO 20022 for harmonization of payment transactions.
Thursday May 4th, 2017 at SAP Regensdorf

Payment transactions have been undergoing radical change in Switzerland since 2013. This this project has been running under the title "Harmonization of payment transactions in Switzerland". The ISO 20022 international standard (UNIFI, UNIversal Financial Industry message scheme) has been localized for Switzerland by the SIX Group.

The new payment transactions standard is currently being realized in Switzerland on a step-by-step basis and will be complete in 2018. Banks, software partners and customers are involved in this process. The first key functions were implemented and tested during a pilot project. These have since been published as SAP notes and made available to the SAP community. For many customers, the ERP software from SAP is an essential product for conducting their business processes. Timely provision is a critical success factor for the harmonization of payment transactions.

On the morning of Thursday, May 4, 2017, SAP in Regensdorf will once again be hosting an Enabling Workshop for the partners of SAP Switzerland. The objective is to provide you with the necessary information at an early stage so that you can perform this conversion work for your customers.
