Henry Bailey

Global Vice President of Utilities Industry Business Unit, SAP

Mr. Bailey has more than 20 years tenure in the Utility Industry sector and is responsible for managing the Industry Business Solution experts within the Global Utilities Business Unit. 

Mr. Bailey’s achievements include working for major energy fuel supply companies, designing Work and Safety management software systems for leading Utility companies as well as designing and patenting software products for regulatory compliance. He is a published author on business strategies and has extensive background around Customer Systems, Enterprise Asset Management, Smart Grid, AMI and eMobility (electric vehicles) within the Utility Industry sector. 

Mr. Bailey holds a BS in Computer Information Science and Robotics.


Gero Bieser

After finishing his PhD in physics at the TU Munich, Gero Bieser joined the SAP Industry Business Unit Utilities in 1997. Since then he worked on a wide range of subjects from Enterprise Asset Management to Customer Relationship Management and Smart Meters. Currently he focuses on how to leverage the latest SAP technology to enable the integration of IT and OT systems, smart electricity networks and advanced maintenance strategies.


Maher Chebbo

General Manager Energy & Natural Resources, EMEA & MEE for Oil & Gas, Mill & Mining, Chemicals, Utilities industries, SAP

Dr. Chebbo joined SAP 19 years ago (1996) where he co-founded its Corporate In-Venturing Unit (SAP

INSPIRE) in 2003 and where he held various responsibilities as a Regional EMEA Industries Head

(Energy and various Industries like Telecom, Services, Engineering & Construction and

Transportation) and Director of Innovation.


Co-founder of a German Renewable startup and, before joining SAP, led at Cap Gemini the

Power & Communication industries for 6 years.


Dr. Maher holds an Engineering Degree in Mechanical and Energy. He holds a PhD Energy degree

from Ecole des Mines de Paris where he is member of the Board (ARMINES). He has an MBS in

Electronics and a BA specialization in Entrepreneurship, Finance, Innovation and investments.

Dean’s current focus is on Asset Information Management and specifically SAP's new product for asset information collaboration, the Asset Intelligence Network. Dean has been with SAP for 18 years.


J├╝rgen Gebker

Juergen Gebker has worked 16 years in different roles at SAP. As a Business Developer for Discrete Manufacturing Industries he was as well responsible for the go-to-market strategy of IoT solutions in Germany.  Since August 2015 he owns a global role as SAP Partner Manager responsible for go-to-market of the SAP HANA IoT Integrator by OSIsoft

Dr. Andreas Pfeiffer

Director and NPP Manager, KKL

Dr. Pfeiffer is the Nuclear Power Plant Manager at KKL (since 2010). His prior roles at KKL include serving as Deputy Power Plant Manager and as Head of the Mechanical Engineering Division. Before joining KKL he held gas turbine product development and engineering- and management positions at Alstom Power AG and at ABB Power Generation.

Dr. Pfeiffer serves on the Board of Directors for ZWILAG (Zwischenlager Würenlingen AG), on the Board of Directors for Nagra (National Cooperative for Radioactive Waste Management) and on the Executive Board for SVTI (Swiss Association for Technical Inspections).

Brian Williams

Brian recently joined SAP from PwC where he led several IT-enabled business transformation projects focused on operational efficiency improvement, enterprise asset management and supply chain management.


Brian's specialization is working in capital intensive industries such as Nuclear Power, Utilities, Mining, Petrochemicals and Manufacturing to develop and optimize their physical asset management policies and design and implement supporting enterprise-wide IT solutions (i.e. "do the right work" and "do the work right"). He is a Mechanical Engineer and holds an MBA from Pace University in New York.
